Web 2.0, Library 2.0 and the future of libraries

This was a great look at what the future can hold for libraries and their patrons. I was surprised at the the 55 percent drop in circulation at one of the libraries and I wonder what kind of curculation statistics our library system is experiencing. Two of the articles I liked were "Away from the iceberg" and "To more powerful ways to cooperate". The information that can be shared is amazing. I know I was thrilled when my family went to China in Oct. to adopt another child, I was able to be there with them via their blog. It was great. No more waiting for phone calls etc. To see pictures is worth "A thousand words" as they say.
